Our stunning Grade II listed ground-floor apartment in the historic Bagdale area of Whitby has its own private entrance and tiered garden with a lawn and 3 separate patio areas where you can relax in the sun or enjoy a barbeque after your day exploring the delights of Whitby.

Havelock Court is a hidden gem with the unique feature of a private courtyard to the rear and sole use of the front garden. The Havelock Court Apartment is a hidden gem on the lower ground floor and contains an entrance, bathroom with a shower, two double bedrooms as well as a lounge that has a flat-screen TV, diner, kitchen, and the added benefit of a front garden which solely belongs to this apartment. This comfortable and cosy apartment is suitable for couples or families alike.

May House

Finished to the highest standard, May House perfectly combines modern and traditional decor. Located close to the centre of Whitby, this striking property has it all. Sleeping up to six guests, May House is perfect for families and groups of friends looking for a seaside holiday on the Yorkshire coast.

May House has a cosy living space. With a comfy sofa, a relaxing armchair, and a flat-screen TV this really is the ideal place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances so every care has been taken to ensure you have everything you need to make the most of your self-catering stay. Still remaining traditional in decor, the kitchen has white cupboards and grey work tops. The dining area within the kitchen includes a wooden table, as well as chairs for you and your guests.

Head to any of the two bedrooms on the first floor and you’ll find one room with a king-size bed, and another room with two single beds. The single beds can be linked together to form a king-sized bed if this is more suitable for you stay.

The second floor bedroom also has a king-sized bed. All beds in the property have plush bedding and premium bed linens.

You’ll find a well equipped bathroom on the ground floor, whilst the second floor bathroom has a shower, WC and wash basin.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

May House is located a short 10-minute walk from Whitby town centre so you’ll be perfectly situated to explore the many restaurants, cafes and shops on the doorstep.

Nestled on the West Cliff, you’ll find fun arcades and you’ll be able to sample the catch of the day in one of Whitby’s famous fish restaurants which line Pier Road. The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a short 5-minute walk from the property so you can really make the most of your coastal escape.

The other side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.

Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.

Whitby train station is just a short 11-minute walk away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
