If you’re looking for a view over Whitby harbour, then our harbour penthouse couldn’t be better situated for watching the comings and goings of Whitby life.

Harbour Penthouse is a light and airy apartment on the third floor; occupying the west corner of Jutland House in the heart of Whitby’s Town center. Its top floor position allows fantastic views from the South West facing living room over the upper harbour and across to the East Side of the town.

You can enjoy contemporary living in a well-presented two-bedroom apartment by Whitby Holiday Rental which is furnished to a high standard throughout. The apartment offers a spacious open-plan living room, dining, and kitchen. With plenty of room to relax after a hard day exploring the town on the extra-large corner sofa and Smart TV.

Additionally, the kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking or take away nights. All of which can be enjoyed at the stylish extendable dining table and chairs.

Leading from the main hallway, you will find 2 double bedrooms, the master with en-suite and walk-in shower. Plus, a second double bedroom with a family bathroom, with bath and shower just across the hall.

There is a lift or access by stairs to the third floor. Plus, a secure audio/visual door entry system with remote unlocking.

Besides the view, the apartment is perfectly located for a flat walk to the main shopping streets, exploring the harbourside of Whitby and its many bars and restaurants.

That’s why this property has had a full fire safety report carried out for 2024, and new hard wired smoke and heat detectors have been installed, to meet the latest regulations.
We have also supplied emergency torches in case of power failure, these are plugged into sockets in all bedroom(s) at the property and will automatically light up in the event of the power being cut.

Georgian Townhouse Whitby | Garden Oasis

Our stunning Grade II listed ground-floor apartment in the historic Bagdale area of Whitby has its own private entrance and tiered garden with a lawn and 3 separate patio areas where you can relax in the sun or enjoy a barbeque after your day exploring the delights of Whitby.

Garden Oasis is just a short stroll from the flat to the town centre. Therefore, you have all amenities on the doorstep yet secluded enough in its Georgian grounds to offer you peace and tranquillity to unwind. This spacious apartment retains many of its original Georgian features including high ceilings, large shuttered windows looking out on to the garden at the front yet has been lovingly restored giving the interior a real contemporary feel.

As you enter the apartment you will step into a well-equipped modern kitchen, with a retro fridge freezer and a small table and chairs for enjoying breakfast. The large sitting room has 2 sumptuous sofas and dining table and chairs looking out on the garden and the pantiled roofs of Whitby. Havelock Court Apartment

Havelock Court is a hidden gem with the unique feature of a private courtyard to the rear and sole use of the front garden. The property is located on the ground floor of a converted Victorian period building in a quiet location that is a few minutes’ walk to the beach, and a stone’s throw from all the town has to offer.

We’re proud to be able to show off this beautiful 2 bedroom garden apartment located on the popular Whitby West Cliff. The Havelock Court Apartment is a hidden gem on the lower ground floor and contains an entrance, bathroom with a shower, two double bedrooms as well as a lounge that has a flat-screen TV, diner, kitchen, and the added benefit of a front garden which solely belongs to this apartment. This comfortable and cosy apartment is suitable for couples or families alike.

When entering the property, you will be immediately greeted with a useful area to store your luggage and larger possessions. This leads you into a spacious hall with a luxurious chaise longue the perfect space to take time out with your favourite book.

The bathroom is spacious and houses a free-standing shower cubicle as well as a separate bath.

The master bedroom encompasses a big and bright bay window that looks over the well maintained and colourful front garden.

The lounge comes complete with a feature fireplace and that all leads into a dining space with fabulous double doors that open on to the private, rear courtyard. The charming, modern kitchen is modernised and has the benefit a built-in electric cooker.

May House

Finished to the highest standard, May House perfectly combines modern and traditional decor. Located close to the centre of Whitby, this striking property has it all. Sleeping up to six guests, May House is perfect for families and groups of friends looking for a seaside holiday on the Yorkshire coast.

May House has a cosy living space. With a comfy sofa, a relaxing armchair, and a flat-screen TV this really is the ideal place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances so every care has been taken to ensure you have everything you need to make the most of your self-catering stay. Still remaining traditional in decor, the kitchen has white cupboards and grey work tops. The dining area within the kitchen includes a wooden table, as well as chairs for you and your guests.

Head to any of the two bedrooms on the first floor and you’ll find one room with a king-size bed, and another room with two single beds. The single beds can be linked together to form a king-sized bed if this is more suitable for you stay.

The second floor bedroom also has a king-sized bed. All beds in the property have plush bedding and premium bed linens.

You’ll find a well equipped bathroom on the ground floor, whilst the second floor bathroom has a shower, WC and wash basin.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

May House is located a short 10-minute walk from Whitby town centre so you’ll be perfectly situated to explore the many restaurants, cafes and shops on the doorstep.

Nestled on the West Cliff, you’ll find fun arcades and you’ll be able to sample the catch of the day in one of Whitby’s famous fish restaurants which line Pier Road. The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade is just a short 5-minute walk from the property so you can really make the most of your coastal escape.

The other side of Whitby is full of narrow, medieval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.

Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.

May House is located close to the centre of Whitby so the town can easily be explored on foot.

Whitby train station is just a short 11-minute walk away so villages and towns along the North Yorkshire coast can easily be reached via rail. There’s also a taxi rank in close proximity to the train station.

There are plenty of bus routes throughout Whitby. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes. The X93 travels along the coast to Scarborough. The 95 route features plenty of quaint villages, such as Grosmont and Lealholm.
