The Autumn Half Term is always one of the most popular times of the year to visit Whitby, having a lot of Halloween attractions on offer, along with the usual Dracula homages, having the second Gothic weekend of the year at the end of October, embracing the gothic atmosphere and architecture. Whitby is located perfectly for you to visit York, Middlesbrough and Newcastle nearby, if you would like a change to a more urban setting during your stay.
