Summer is the most desirable time to go to Whitby, and June is our recommended time to go, just before the Summer Holidays, so you can enjoy a peaceful time in a vibrant Whitby before the town centre is packed with visitors. Whitby is the perfect place for a long, relaxing week away in the sun, with a quaint beach setting, perfect for waking up to, a calm afternoon and enjoying a luxury meal on the sea front. Here at Whitby Holiday Rentals, we will be able to provide you with a self-catering apartment, from a choice of the Georgian Townhouse, Harbour Penthouse and Havelock Court Apartment, all filled with everything you will need to enjoy a summer break away to North Yorkshire.
Things to do in June
Whitby has plenty to do in the summer, the beach of course being the main attraction, as you can enjoy a nice walk by the North Sea to Sandsend, a picturesque village only a short walk from Whitby Pier, right on the seafront, making for a lovely setting to enjoy some fish and chips. The Fish & Ships Festival is a popular event every June, a festival dedicated to Yorkshire Coast’s magnificent maritime culture from the building of its boats to its multi award-winning fish restaurants.
The 60s Weekend has also become another popular annual Whitby Event, celebrating some of the most popular UK and USA 1960s music, also annual in Blackpool and Southport. Summertime in North Yorkshire is always the best time of year to go for some lovely walks in North Yorkshire, popular places consisting of Levisham Moor, May Beck and Falling Foss, Pen-y-Ghent and Brimham Rocks.
Whitby Holiday Rentals have a selection of different apartments for you to put your feet up in this May, as we offer well-equipped apartments, which have a welcoming and homely environment for you to relax in after a long day out in North Yorkshire.
