The Whitby Tour Bus Route
As mentioned, the Tour Bus stops at all the main attractions in Whitby Town Centre. Starting at Co-Op, in the harbour, the tour bus heads towards the West Cliff; providing excellent views of the beach. The Bus goes around the top of the cliff, past attractions, such as the famous Whale Bones.
From here the bus heads towards Pannett Park, a calm and stunning environment away from the crowds. These gardens have a play area, beautiful flower displays and Pannett Art Gallery. Next to Pannett Park is Whitby Museum, the Museum presenting the local treasures from days gone by.
The last destination is East Cliff, providing the best views of Whitby as you ascend up towards Whitby Abbey. Whitby Abbey is the most popular attraction, the gothic ruins which have loomed over the town for centuries. Next to the Abbey is St Mary’s Church, a gorgeous church environment with sea views.
